A new Cryptographic currency has just been released to the public and it is the most untraceable means of payment to ever exist. It is called Zcash, and the reason its less traceable than even Bitcoin is that it doesn’t have a public ledger of all transactions in its crypto-economy like bitcoin does. Unless bitcoin’s users funnel their bitcoins through intermediaries or special software then their transactions can technically be traced be traced.
Zcash uses what they call “zero-knowledge proof” in their crypto-algorithm, which means that any Zcash spender or receiver can also choose to keep their transaction entirely secret. Having better privacy means that anyone who might have their transactional information used against them is now better off. legal businesses can benefit from this new currency because having their transaction information private will help prevent competitors from using the information against them. Zerocash ofcourse can also be used illegally, just like bitcoin is Frequently used.
In terms of systems analysis and designs, the block chain algorithm for Zcash has gone through all 6 stages of the SDLC. It solves the problem of perfectly anonymous payment online and has been tested and deployed into real use as a cryptocurrency.
In the world of management information systems, this is going to increase the amount of transactions in the online market place and provide a whole new avenue for ecommerce businesses to function. Having these absolute private transactions creates the option for businesses to have a better way of conducting business to their needs.

Have read more about this. It may very well be the bitcoin alternative. Not sure it went "through all 6 stages of the SDLC," but it did test it before deploying it. It will likely continue to do so as it gets used in the real world to make sure it is reliable and trusted.
